9-25-18 Fishing Report

The rain just stopped a bit ago (around 12:30pm) and it looks like the rest of the storm will go south of us if it keeps tracking the same way. The rivers have all puffed up quite a bit after the last ten hours of steady rain. The West Branch at Stilesville is now up to 1170 cfs and 61 degrees, up a bit after they raised the flow out of Cannonsville to 1000 cfs. With 170 cfs coming from the creeks around Stilesville it is going to be dirty for the rest of the day. Hale Eddy is running high with very little visibility at 4660 and rising at 58 degrees. The East Branch at Harvard is 1590 cfs and 51 degrees and down at Fishs’ Eddy we have 3300 cfs and 54 degrees. The mainstem at Lordville is running 6170 cfs and 56 degrees, up about 3000 cfs today and still rising. Today looks like a blowout for most sections but it should shape up nicely over the next 24-48 hours and we’ve had a lot of similar storms recently and the streamer fishing for the next few days after the storms were pretty productive.
