9-19-18 Fishing Report

We've got a nice, overcast morning with cloud cover for most of the day but no rain in the immediate forecast with some cooler temps coming up for the next week or so. The West Branch has cleared up over the last twelve hours and now at Stilesville we have 1260 cfs and 60 degrees. Down at Hale Eddy we have 2200 cfs and 61 degrees and we currently have a few feet of visibility and it should clear up some over the next day or so but it has been running stained coming out of the reservoir so we aren’t going to have truly clear water on the West for a while. The upper East Branch at Harvard is now 952 cfs and 50 degrees while down at Fishs’ Eddy we have 3480 and 60 degrees. The mainstem at Lordville is running 6500 cfs and 63 degrees. As the rivers clear we should have some good streamer fishing for a few days and the same bugs we’ve been seeing will still be around. Olives and Isonychia are going to continue to be the bugs to have for the next few weeks. We will keep you posted as the water levels drop and things get back to normal. Lotsa’ Luck
